For me, for all the ecologists and responsible persons in the world this is a great moment: the cardboard refused by recycling centres will no longer be wasted. Thanks to Diane Steverlynk your carboard will become your linen and you will put it on your bed and wrap it around you. She called them Cardboard Cover which is what they actually are.
Manufactured with worn boxes, they propose a different and poetic recycling. Their texture is surprising; the rigid and uncomfortable material has become supple and soft. The still visible graphics of the original box remind us that they were once disposable containers of consumables.
Like the cardboard boxes they came from, these coverings are insulating, protective and easy to transport. They warm and cover our bodies, offering comfort with a minimum material.
The cardboard’s original state before being transformed into a blanket.
You can still be aware of the blanket’s origins through the box orientation instructions printed on it.
Sleep thight and reliefed!
