Cosmina Dinu – Bucharest, Romania
Born in Brasov – beautifull town surrounded by mountains, I had a great childhood. I used to like making little clay objects and offer them as presents to my family. This was my first interaction with design. I didn’t know it back then but now, as an young adult, with an economist diploma in my pocket and 2 years experience in advertising, I managed to come back to my first love. I feel very happy and fulfilled about it. My other major passion is traveling to “non-all-inclusive” areas. And I turn my messenger OFF when I don’t use it. Mihai Gurei – Bucharest, Romania
Born and raised in Tulcea town, “the gate to Danube Delta”, I wasn’t aware of the word “design” until I discovered almost ten years ago the french magazine Intramuros. Everything evolved in a passion and, later, a business. Together with Claudia Chirilescu we own Intro, a nice showroom in downtown Bucharest showcasing the best of contemporary design. I also write articles and columns for several publications, including Elle Deco, Igloo or gorgeous Omagiu magazine. For Designro I will mostly cover the international Fairs and design exhibitions with pictures and info for the News section and sometimes show my point of view in Spotlight. I strongly support Romanian Design and hopefully we will manage to promote it abroad together with a bigger group of enthusiastic journalists and afficionados.
